Reading some low effort posts on entrepreneur subreddits from people out there hungry for any vaguely lucrative sounding business ideas they can find.

Reminded me of the mirror of Erised from Harry Potter book1-

-Only the person who wanted to find the treasure but not use it could extract it from the magic mirror.

In the real world such a large open ended search will never yield what those people are looking for because they’re too focused on the outcome.

There are infinite opportunities out there and to find good ones you have to stop caring about money and do things for fun and explorations sake first!

This naturally filters out work thats too painful for you to sustain, and in the manner of ‘Why greatness cannot be planned’ leads you to discovering the greatest opportunities you never expected to find.
