I’m tired of those who, in their lack of full comprehension, try to pathologize or psychoanalyze what is essentially esoteric and sacred.

For instance, I’ve been told many times over the years that I “should” be more grounded, as if it were a defect or a lack of proper functioning. When there are deeper reasons why the soul may not wish to be grounded in a body or lifetime, trying to force this for utilitarian reasons without first inquiring as to whether it is in alignment with one’s full being is an act of self-violence.

I’ve also had at least several individuals insinuate that I was somehow lacking in Self-knowledge or wholeness for needing others, as if my very nature could be reduced to a psychological or spiritual defect. I find it unsettling when people take the position of assuming they know better than you do about what is good for you or what you need - even if they would never openly admit to such arrogance - while not even understanding the deeper laws of your being.

It’s as if people subconsciously try to fit others into a default human template, and if they don’t fit, the response is to assume that something is wrong with them, rather than the templates being incomplete or dysfunctional. I love exploring the unknown, but the sad truth of human nature is that most feel threatened by it, and feel the need to control it in one way or another for their own safety.
