Things I noticed on my walk last night:

• A toddler jumping in puddles with her new rain boots.

• A tiny baby puppy taking its first walk.

• Some dinosaur birthday balloons set up in a kitchen.

• An “it’s a girl!” banner strung on someone’s window.

There are so many lovely pockets of joy and connection if you put your phone down once in a while.
