Eleven Eleven is a new cocktail lounge a short bike ride from my house in Houston, and it strives for a Mexico City vibe. The interior is lovely with a pretty convincing CDMX sensibility, although it’s meant to be more a hip nightclub than a cantina (it’s heavy on the '“untz untz” EDM soundtrack; bottle service with Casa Azul Reposdo priced at $900).

Not a place for a casual copita of of mezcal, but I appreciated how they leaned into their logo design. It’s located at 1111 Westheimer, hence the name. And they’ve found ways to incorporate this into their logo and even door handles.
