Make money doing the work you believe in

Working-class readers a century ago debated Marx on factory floors and read Milton aloud to each other after shifts. Coal miners built their own lending libraries. We inherited that culture and somewhere between the television and the algorithm, we quietly let it go. I find that harder to forgive than most things.
