Make money doing the work you believe in

I wish more Gen Z girls understood this:

Just because you’re a girl who happens to be an autistic gender weirdo, it doesn’t mean you have to be trans or non-binary. You have the choice to just be weird.

It took me 12 years to realize this fact because I thought living as trans or passing as a man would make me “normal.” And in some ways, it did.

But that veneer of normalcy came with too many problems, none of which I willingly signed up for. Now that I’ve stopped doing that for a couple years, I’ve taken a lot of solace in embracing my identity as an odd duck.

I’ll be 27 in two weeks, and honestly, at my ripe old age after having gone through the hell of living my life for the expectations of others, I’ve come to the conclusion that being normal is incredibly overrated.
