This is the last subscriber celebration for a bit, but I’m extremely encouraged and grateful for reaching 1,000 subscribers here on Substack this week.

I’ve worked very hard these past few months on this publication, working Friday nights and full Saturdays and Sundays, trying my best at balancing this with my real job in Private Equity.

In the last 2 and a half weeks I’ve gained 800 subscribers here on Substack.

Just unreal growth.

Thank you all for reading my work, interacting with the contact, asking questions and hosting constructive arguments for mutual learning.

Substack is truly a place where if you really work hard on creating good content, you can amass a genuine following. I’m not sure if its just here in the “FinStack” space, but it certainly is a great corner of the community to start a publication.

It feels like a small but serious community of people who want to understand businesses better, think longer term and sharpen each other’s thinking.

And to be honest, since joining this community, I’ve really been challenged on evaluating my current portfolio and new opportunities.

Being able to publicly write down your thoughts and investments thesis’ tests your conviction and leaves you responsible for your decisions.

It has honestly made me a better investor.

And we’re just getting started.
