What does it mean for a company to be “structured to compound”?

We spent thousands of words on Brookfield Corporation exploring this question. The short version: Brookfield has built an architecture of patient, permanent capital across real assets, infrastructure, and credit that creates a self-reinforcing flywheel.

The AI infrastructure buildout is the latest example. While most investors debate which chipmaker wins, Brookfield is financing and building the data centers themselves.

When the structure is right, the specific opportunity almost doesn’t matter. The machine compounds regardless.
