A prompt for you. A short poem, prose or line.

Things that refuse burial

Write about something that should have been forgotten, buried, silenced, abandoned, or left behind.

Yet somehow remains.

My response:

violet dusk

caught
in the folds
of your sleeves

while ravens shifted
among dying leaves

like thoughts
too old
to bury

Tag and restack. Optional. Picture optional as well.
