After more than a year of building The Romantasy , we’re about to cross 17,000 subscribers.

Honestly, I don’t think I understood what I was getting into when this started.

Somewhere between deep-diving Sarah J. Maas lore, tracking romantasy trends, reading more books than I can count, and watching reader reactions unfold in real time, this turned into something much bigger than I expected.

There have been meltdowns. Tantrums. Chaos. Excitement.

But there’s also been a real education in what readers actually want from romantasy, what they reject instantly, what they obsess over, and why some stories completely take over the genre while others vanish a week later.

And somehow, all of you built this with me.

Going from 2,627 subscribers to nearly 17,000 in a little over a year still feels unreal.
