I am noticing a pattern with mothers and their “doing” being a dissociative means for them to survive by being busy. So much so that they end up preventing their children from learning “thoughtfulness” required for adult intimacy.
When a mother does things for her children simply because she’s bored and needs something to do. She robs that child of learning that the need for it to get done isn’t just something that lives in a mental load only on women’s shoulders
