International Day of Conscience asks all of us to pause and reflect on our actions, and whether they contribute to a kinder, more peaceful world. For seniors especially, a lifetime of experience gives real weight to that question. Technology today makes it easier than ever to either spread division or foster understanding, and conscience is what guides us toward the better choice.
The UN invites individuals, governments, and organizations to promote peace, tolerance, and solidarity through education and public awareness. Even small acts, like thinking before sharing something online or reaching out to someone who feels left behind, align with the spirit of the day.
