I got my first paid subscriber!

Stripe texted me “You’ve received a new payment.”

I literally rolled my eyes

Another scam, I thought.

But then I logged in. And stared.

It was real.

Someone subscribed to my Substack.

Someone chose to support my work.

I sat there, stunned and maybe a little teary.

It lit something in me.

I celebrated.

Here’s what I want to share with you:

Don’t downplay your small wins.

Don’t wait for 100 subscribers to feel legitimate.

One is magic. One is enough.

One person is enough to change the way you see yourself.
