The Curse of Eternal Hunger
I curse you with endless yearning,
that no sweetness shall ever sate.
You will taste power in every drop of dew,
in every gaze, in every heartbeat near you,
and still hunger,
still ache.
I curse you to see the truth behind every veil,
and never unsee it.
The lies of men will crawl on your skin like insects,
and your sleep will be stirred by whispers
that were never meant for human ears.
I curse you to remember
who you are,
what you were made for,
and never again find peace in comfort or ignorance.
I curse you with a tongue that burns with venomous words,
so that even your silence bruises the air.
Those who stand too close
shall know your heat,
and either be purified
or scorched to ash.
I curse you to burn forever.
with sacred obsession,
with the ache that drives warriors to carve runes in bone
and bleed beneath the moon.
