I got myself a speedweve darning loom! I probably could have chosen an easier mending project than a delicate cashmere blend scarf to try it out on but I’m pretty pleased with how it turned out. I still need to work on making neater edges but that’s just practice.

Lia’s hand on a grey heather cashmere scarf. There are 5 small patches of darned dark grey embroidery thread on two sections of the scarf. Some of the edges are a bit messy but the darning itself is pretty neat.
