Coming up to a stop light 🚦 you don’t slam the brakes. You slowly let go of the throttle. You start to ease into the position of stopping.
When you’re sitting, you want to slam the breaks, but instead just let yourself notice that. It’s busy. There’s traffic. That’s what the mind does. And then just breathe. It settles the less attention you give it. The body’s natural state is peace and calm.
Let yourself fall into it. Ease. Slow. Let it be easy.
