Tomorrow I’ll dive into the story of a 1981 synth-pop track that seemed destined for greatness — until it was banned by BBC Radio 1, and from that moment on, everything went terribly wrong. It’s the story of two of my absolute ’80s heroes, and I wish this photo were real, because I would have loved to meet them. Friday’s episode is, in many ways, almost a declaration of love.
