What’s your favorite Madonna track?

Sounds like an easy question… but it really isn’t. L’embarras du choix as we say.

If I had to pick one, I’d probably go with “Hung Up.”

No matter how many times I hear it, same effect every time: instant smile… and yes, full-volume singalong (no shame 😁).

But there are strong contenders.

“Material Girl” is definitely one of them.

It hit #1 on the Billboard Club Play chart on this day in 1985 — and you can hear why. Pure pop, built for the dancefloor.
