Today Lou Gramm turns 76.

Yes… that Lou Gramm. The voice of Foreigner.

And I can hear you thinking:

👉 “Pé… what does he have to do with dance music?” 😁

Fair question.

But even he had his moments.

In the 80s, a number of his songs, both solo and with Foreigner, got proper 12-inch treatments.

👉 “Ready Or Not” (solo) 👉 “That Was Yesterday” (Foreigner)

The latter being my personal favorite.

Not exactly the easiest track to slip into a set back then… but still a beautiful song with a genuinely strong extended mix.

Another reminder of how wide the 80s dance umbrella really was.
