Nickolas Ashford would have turned 85.

Together with Valerie Simpson, as writers and performers, they were hugely important for (Afro) American music.

So many classics. So many moments.

And quite a few of them firmly rooted on the dancefloor.

Probably my absolute favorite.

That groove, that feeling… it just hits every time.
