I went looking for footage of her legendary Studio 54 cage performances of the song…

Sadly, those don’t seem to be floating around on YouTube.

So I settled for another clip instead.

Less leather. No male slaves. No whips 😁

But still wonderfully bizarre fashion.

Because Grace Jones was never one for traditional stage wear.

And thank heavens for that.
