And yet some of them still made it all the way to the top of the US dance charts.

Case in point:

Tears For Fears – “Everybody Wants To Rule The World”

This day in 1985, it reached #1 on the dance chart.

Now don’t get me wrong:

Great record. Great album. Love the song.

But a dance record?

Nah… 😁

Did people actually dance to this one in clubs back then? I genuinely wonder.
