The app for independent voices

This may sound harsh, but I believe it wholeheartedly (and I say it with love): wellness is bullsh*t if you don’t first focus on regulating your nervous system. Grounding, morning sunlight, even meditation all just become buzzwords to check off your list if you’re living in chronic fight-or-flight. Because if your nervous system is dysregulated, your body is constantly operating from survival — not healing. Regulate your system first, and suddenly all the other “wellness” stuff actually starts to work (and truly becomes enjoyable!!).
