Yesterday evening was spent making spicy, aromatic kimchi.

Today is cold and rainy, so I couldn’t wait to throw together a quick soup with the last bits from my previous jar — the little pieces that didn’t make it into last night’s batch — along with chunks of tofu and chewy sliced Korean rice cakes.
