At this point for me, going to the gym feels more like a habit than discipline.
When you’re starting out, it is just discipline (or that with a small mix of motivation). It requires showing up when you don’t feel like it, rearranging your schedule and lifestyle, likely lots of physical discomfort, and pushing past excuses.
But what I wish more people understood is that it doesn’t stay like that. Over time, that discipline turns into habit.
The gym becomes a non-negotiable part of your routine, as automatic as brushing your teeth or making your bed.
And that’s when consistency really starts to feel easy.
Anybody else out there feel this way?
