I don’t think I have ever posted anything about the Gaza situation on social media, except in private conversation. So volatile is the topic. Unlike the Ukraine situation, I feel unqualified. To me, Gaza is not about freedom or sovereignty. Its a terrorist hostage situation. And I think the people of Palestine gave the best insight when they protested HAMAS at the end of march by the thousands. They are allowed to protest Israel any time they want, but choosing to speak out against HAMAS can get them disappeared or killed. At this point they must figure, ‘What choice do I have?”
