Anthropic just made finance AI agents look very real.

They released ready-to-use agents for tasks like:

pitch building, meeting prep, earnings reviews, financial modeling, market research, valuation checks, month-end close, audits, and KYC screening.

In simple words:

A lot of the repetitive work done by junior finance analysts can now be handled by AI agents.

This does not mean analysts disappear overnight.

But it does mean the analyst pyramid may become much flatter.

Fewer people doing manual work. More people reviewing, deciding, and managing AI workflows.
