Thank you, Senator John Fetterman, for showing moral clarity and for speaking out against Zohran Mamdani’s radical antisemitism.

But where are the other mainstream Democratic leaders, like Senator Chuck Schumer and Representative Hakeem Jeffries?

Their silence and willingness to yield to Mamdani and the DSA stand in sharp contrast to that moral clarity and constitute a serious failure.

Former US Senator Margaret Chase Smith (1897-1995) was on target when she stated:

“Moral cowardice that keeps us from speaking our minds is as dangerous to this country as irresponsible talk.”
