The app for independent voices

I just deleted the Substack app off of my phone.

Not because I want to be involved less on here (I’m feeling the opposite actually!), but because I want my time to be spent with less frequent hits of dopamine and more focused on being in the moment with those around me.

In a few weeks a lot of my time will be spent sitting as I nurse our baby girl. I remember how much of this time I would spend scrolling. But this time, I’m going to read actual books, listen to encouraging podcasts, and spend more time enjoying our very last baby and the connection with her.

So Substack time will be on my computer with daily checks less frequent but more intentionally done. I have a feeling I won’t regret this choice : )

Anyone else ever go this route?
