Survivors at the Oversight Committee’s hearing on Epstein in Palm Beach this morning talked about how, thanks to his 2008 sweetheart deal with prosecutors, Epstein was able to continue abusing and trafficking while serving time.

The sheriff who approved Epstein’s work release, Ric Bradshaw, is still the sheriff of Palm Beach County (h/t Julie k Brown).
