It's not close mindedness, me thinks. I suspect there's some fear for the potential breakdown of everything they have come to believe. As JC points out, denial is what keeps that at bay. I too tried rational arguments but to no avail. Now, since I got covid and recovered, I just say that I've had it and I'm done. If the drugs I took to help me (not as early as would have been ideal) didn't help me, then I did it on my own and had no need for one of these mRNA transfections. If the treatment did work then the transfections are also pointless. They can't scare me anymore.
