A day in the life of a writer:

Starting a new Chapter: <blank screen> “Ummmm….where do I begin?” <stares at screen, looks at notes, stares at screen>

50 words into new chapter: “This book is absolute trash!”

500 words into new chapter: “Not sure I like it, but it’s something.”

1,000 words into new chapter: “The characters are coming to life. I’m seeing sparks of the story!”

End of chapter and a few edits along the way: “This book is amazing! I can’t wait to share the ending with readers!”

Go to write NEXT chapter: <blank screen> “Not sure this book is working after all….”

Rinse. Repeat. 😭
