I don’t know what strategies will be our best defense against the proliferation and onslaught of AI directed and influenced writing, action, culture, work, wars, entertainment, and propaganda—but I do know that the best defense against it will have to be grounded in a true understanding of what we as humans value about our own communities, art, creativity, thought, and expression and why those things still matter even when they’re being threatened or drown out by the machine.
