I notice a few folks have said how good the last line is and I agree. It’s been on my mind lately that although a good last line is by no means all that’s needed for a successful poem, it’s pretty much essential for one. A weak last line (unless the intention is bathetic) can ruin a poem. Anyone fancy setting up a Last Line Club?
