Neurodivergent folks. Lend me your ears. (I promise I’ll give them back.)
I have an ambitious project underway, and I could use your help.
There’s this form I’ve created: tally.so/r/7RE8ga
I’d welcome your input.
And I’d ask you to share it.
I’m really trying as best I can to create a user’s manual for the ND experience, and how to survive in the Wrong Planet.
I come at this from my own particular angle. Which in many ways is highly stereotypical. Highly privileged. And extremely high masking.
I would love to hear from the broader ND community, worldwide, across all intersectional identities. I really do want to create a field guide to life that works for everyone who identifies as ND. I’m working on it hard. And I’m in the midst of the most productive writing period of my life, and really want to make this work.
Back in the 70s, there was a series of books called “How To Keep Your Volkswagen Alive.” The idea was to demystify car maintenance so anyone could do it. That’s the model I’m working toward.
I’m trying to collect lived experience from our ND community. You are welcome to share as little or as much as you want. And I offer several options for reimbursement for your contribution at the end. Exploiting people’s thoughts and feelings and experiences is the last of my intentions.
I would humbly ask if you could invite others you know into this project. Please share it, on whatever platforms you have. My handle, everywhere, is @thrivingfamilytherapy.
