Befriending your inner dialogue isn’t about forcing it to be positive or pretending it’s not there. It’s about learning to understand it.
Most of us move through life without really considering how we speak to ourselves—or how much it actually matters. That inner voice can be quick, reactive, and at times harsh, but it didn’t come out of nowhere. It’s shaped by past experiences, stress, and everything we’ve internalized along the way.
And the goal isn’t to ignore it—it’s to understand what it’s trying to tell you.
