I feel like the author wrote it to be as offensive as (mostly) fairly possible 😂, so there are little wordings and points I could take issue with, but I appreciated the point that modern “classical” schools and homeschool curricula could hardly be called classical in a true sense. I agree with her that a true, historic classical education would include a lot more rigorous instruction in Latin and Greek, and more work with original sources. However, if the goal of education that she points out is more to do with passing on a heritage from our ancestors, I wonder if in our modern context that can be done well without the level of Latin or Greek they immersed students in during the Middle Ages. I think it can.
