The success of the garden this year is uncertain. My tomatoes already have fungus, some of my plants simply aren’t growing. A cold start to the year followed by an intense heat has left my plants struggling a little.

And yet, none of that diminishes the joy I feel in noticing. Noticing tiny flower buds, noticing the vibrancy of flowers, noticing the resilience of nature.

Success or not, what a joy a garden can be.
