A refreshing reflection for this weekend: Little Faith for Today and Tomorrow, sanctified remastering #1/26: Six years ago, in the middle of the COVID crisis—before we ever imagined that things worse than COVID existed—I needed encouragement and wanted to share a little encouragement with others as well. This is how I created and shared this short reflection of hope, built on several personally challenging times in my life.

Among other things, I also share my story of God’s protection during my visit to the war-afflicted and besieged city of Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, in 1993.

God’s promises of love and care are given to us—the people “of little faith”—who daily face numerous small and great challenges, and who struggle with fear and anxiety. I believe that this message still contains words of comfort and assurance today, in times of even greater uncertainty and growing terror, both domestically and internationally.

Whatever is happening today, God is still in control and sovereign, and He has the final word. And as we speak, share, and listen to messages addressing the serious challenges of our time, let us also, from time to time, focus on pastoral messages that remind us that God remains in control. Listen, watch, and explore some interesting photo and video illustrations as well. All of them—including the war photos—were taken by me.
