I could simply learn to play it for the love of the instrument, but that feels uncomfortable. I’m used to learning things for a purpose, not simply for the joy of it. Perhaps that’s why all of my music fantasies inevitably fall flat, which I think is a music term, but I can’t be sure since I can’t play any instrument.
