It all started during Covid 19. New York City stopped doing weddings for 16 months . Since Vermont has no waiting period , we’re on the the southern border , and I was both Town Clerk and a Justice of the Peace , I made it happen . I met them at the state line with gloves, mask, clipboard, and paperwork. They brought mask, clipboard and of course , cash. The paperwork was done on line in advance. I’m still a J P even though I’ve retired as clerk . Love won’t wait. Come see me.
