The more I think about the Democratic Party’s deliberate shift away from woke lingo the funnier it is. A lot of the point of saying, “unhoused,” or, “marginalized,” or any of the other words no one had ever heard off campus in 2012 was to signal you were part of an elite group.

They were supposed to be seen as refined, cosmopolitan. It turns out that most people think that group is a bunch of insufferable pricks.
