Okay but I'm fresh off a substack article about Janet Mills dropping out of the race in Maine because Graham Platner raised more in small dollar donations than Mills did in large dollar donations. So we have a potential end run around Citizens United and we may be able to do something about candidates running unopposed, unless, of course, people actually like the people who they've hired. Enough politicians representing voters could equal more mandates about redistricting and could make election day paid, normalize early voting and mail in ballots.
I have no hope that all of this will happen before 28, nuch less midterms. But maybe exposing more people to what's happening will make it happen more often.
That doesn't fit the discomfort thing but it can empower a lot of people.
