As I had hoped, some slightly different/better light and my Canon camera with the 17mm Tokina lens attached helped capture an image closer to what I had in mind when I climbed up the hill to this spot. (also, full disclosure, as I was looking at the finished image I thought “this would be better if there were clouds” … so I added some).
