A small package arrived today: the ArtraLab 28mm f/2.8 Leica-M.

It’s wonderfully compact and surprisingly light for what it promises — just 129g. I’m curious: would you like a short review once I’ve put a few rolls / a few real shoots through it?

I’m not the person for a clinical lab test. No charts, no line pairs, no pixel-peeping marathons. But I can tell you one thing: whether a lens feels right in the hand and whether it’s good enough to make beautiful photographs.

One early verdict, though: the fancy metal lens caps are going straight back into the box. They weigh about half as much as the lens itself!
