We need to talk about slavery.

1776, Adam Smith in The Wealth of Nations explained that slavery is inefficient.

1860, slavery was still going strong in the U.S. and so we fought a civil war to end it.

Reconstruction only lasted 12 years (1865 to 1877) and then the South reconstituted slavery as a state function (vagrancy laws filled the jails with Black men who were then leased out to large farms and public works projects).

1888, Brazil became the last nation in the Western Hemisphere to formally abolish slavery.

1933, Germany, one of the most advanced countries in the world re-instituted slavery of targeted groups.

At the time, Russia used slavery throughout its vast Gulag system for mining and road projects in Siberia and elsewhere.

1962, King Faisal abolished slavery in Saudi Arabia.

The Civil Rights Act in 1964 and the Voting Rights Act in 1965 began to dismantle Jim Crow in the U.S. (100 years after the end of the Civil War).

1971, Klaus Schwab, the son of German Nazi Eugen Schwab who used slave labor in his factory in World War II, started the European Management Forum which later changed its name to the World Economic Forum (WEF). The goal of the WEF is to re-enslave the working class throughout the developed world via control of farming, food, travel, currency, energy, the weather, and your body (via vaccine mandates).

1986, the National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act enslaved American children to chronic illness.

2020, Covid was a ruling class blitzkrieg that captured governments, media, and civil society throughout the developed world. Surrendering your body to the state is now an expectation and a requirement for many jobs, the military, and healthcare workers. The Covid response is slavery without chains.

At no point in the last 250 years has anyone argued that slavery is efficient or the right way to run a society (okay some Southerners did pre-Civil war but they are now thoroughly discredited). And yet slavery just keeps happening over and over and over again no matter how advanced the country appears to be. wtf.
