I love the bits on live jazz LPs where you hear the audience burst into spontaneous applause in the middle of a song. Such mystery. "WHAT HAPPENED?" you instantly find yourself wondering. "Was this the bit where the band unveiled their pet lizard and she pirouetted across the stage in perfect harmony with the alto saxophone?"
