I need to say this..

I don’t want Substack to become like Medium.

I published a post this week about how to grow on Substack.

It felt kind of icky.

Medium has WAY TOO MANY “how to grow on Medium” meta posts that ruin the platform.

When I write about Substack, I’ll do so sparingly.

I’m here to help you become a better writer first and foremost.

Growing on Substack is secondary.

AND, I’m growing my Dad and I’s Substack from scratch on the side.

So, every shred of advice on how to grow here will be backed up by REAL WORLD examples..

I always had a problem with people who ONLY write about how to grow on social media.

That’s cheap.

So, let’s collectively just try to preserve this great platform, eh?
