🥉 — Boucles Guégonnaises.
Bretagne does me well. I enjoy the racing here. I’m proud to have a podium, where the hard work actually begins to pay off.
This weekend brought back some of the best memories from recent years, and that spurred me on. Reacquainted with a photo from my last time here for Le Ronde des Vallées Juniors.
I didn’t miss a beat, jumping with every move in the final half of the race and in the final, ending up with two other guys, hoping deep down for a sprint. Yet, when they attacked, I didn’t capitulate on the final climb, and so I held on to 3rd, so there is more to come.
Thanks, Guidon Chalettois, for offering the opportunity to recalibrate myself this season. Let’s keep growing together.
Last time I looked, and felt like this on a bike was the beginning of 2023. It’s a welcome feeling.
