@WSJ reported that people voted for state measures to guarantee abortion rights, but they did not vote for @KamalaHarris.   The question is why.  

Years ago, Dems favored personal freedoms, along with big government.  The primary national issue for Dems was abortion.  After abortion became a states issue vs. national issue, and Dems’ inflationary monetary policy (deficit spending) proved disastrous, what issue is left for Dems?  The environment?

Why is Trump picking his administration from congress, when he has minimum leverage there?

He should have learned from the Jeff Sessions mistake.
